MULTIPLIER EVENTS
Various events organized by project partners in Turkey, Romania, Italy, and Germany have disseminated the project results to target groups. The main objectives of our dissemination activities are;
To share project outputs and results,
Influence/expand the impact on target groups for the usability of project outputs,
Promote technology-supported science teaching focused on 21st-century skills and competencies,
Generate new collaboration synergies among participants.
Our target groups are;
Representatives of central and local authority units in the field of education,
University representatives in the field of science teaching and computing (administrators, academics),
Teachers and prospective teachers in relevant fields,
Students aged 10-17,
NGO, Technopark, and commercial sector representatives working in the field of education and robotics (robotics companies).
The focal points in the successive sessions of the events were;
- The place and importance of 21st-century basic competencies and skills in education,
- The relationship between technology and scientific literacy,
- Innovative approaches in science learning and teaching,
- Presentation of intellectual outputs including the elements of comprehensive science teaching design to improve scientific literacy.
The events served as a tool to present the project and its results; to conduct a discussion on an innovative science teaching design as a tool to continue new vocational training and teaching programs and school science teaching curricula; to prepare a collaboration plan for the further use of project results.
In these dissemination activities, workshop-style hands-on learning opportunities were also provided that foster teamwork and effective communication, and support innovative, creative, solution-focused, self-confident, and initiative-taking. Such activities not only offer the opportunity to share experiences and present project products to many people participating in the education but also make learning more permanent.
